Come learn more about the innovative Car 54 program in Nanaimo, that connects individuals suffering with mental illness directly with a psychiatric nurse and RCMP officer.

Join us on Wednesday, September 19, 2023 at 4:00PM to hear more from Const. Waltman and Malcolm Jenkins, R.N. about how this program is developing and making an impact in Nanaimo. This in-person event will take place at Beban Social Centre, 2300 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC in Room 1. We will begin promptly at 4PM, so please arrive early to get settled and grab some snacks.

They will be sharing updates on the development of the program and the impact it is having on our city. We will have time to interact with them for you to share your own stories, including how their intervention has already directly impacted your family and life. Our unique community of caregivers has a unique voice to encourage and give input into this program.
