The road to recovery can be long, and affects the entire network of individuals supporting their loved one. You need a support group.

Your loved one may be walking through Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression (or Depressive Disorder), Psychotic Episodes, Psychosis, Schizoaffective Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Substance Use, Anosognosia, or Co-occurring Mental Health Conditions. Each of these comes with their own struggle, and constantly explaining yourself to loved ones or others who are not immediately in the situation is exhausting. Just learning the language can be a huge barrier to coming alongside your loved one.

Find a community who understands, are walking that journey, and who can share their own experiences and wisdom without judgement or expectation.

MHRP CI exists to offer support, care, and education for loved ones on the journey. This support group is for anyone in the Parksville area who needs a supportive, non-judgmental community.

You will find skilled facilitators with lived experience who foster an open, listening environment. There is no judgement, and no definitive answers. There is a supportive community who have walked similar paths as you and can offer their advice and encouragement along the way.

The group meets every second Tuesday at 6:30PM, at Parksville Inclusion Society. Grab your tickets below and you will receive full information via email, and reminders the day of the Support Group to get you connected.
