Join other Nanaimo nonprofits & providers at organizational roundtables to strengthen mental health & social supports. Your voice matters!

Calling all nonprofits and social service organizations!

Join us in shaping the future of mental health and social support in our community. We invite nonprofit and social service organizations to join our upcoming Organizational Roundtables focused on enhancing mental health and social support systems. Your expertise and insights are vital in helping us identify key challenges, share best practices, and build more inclusive and responsive community services.

Your Convenience

We understand that flexibility matters to busy organizations. That’s why we’re offering both morning and afternoon options. Choose the session that works best for you:

Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Beban Social Centre, Room 7

Friday, January 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Beban Social Centre, Room 1

What to Expect

By participating, you will have the opportunity to shape a more resilient network of care, collaborate with fellow providers, and contribute to meaningful improvements in mental health and social service delivery.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Collaborate: Engage with fellow service providers to explore solutions and strengthen partnerships.
  • Advocate: Help identify gaps and opportunities to improve mental health care delivery.
  • Impact: Contribute your perspective to shape a more equitable, resilient, and accessible support system.

Part of Something Bigger

We are working to build a map of mental health support in our region, and your organisation’s voice is essential at this roundtable session to help us understand the challenges and opportunities for improvement in the services available.

You will engage in meaningful discussions with our Mental Health Navigator. Together, we aim to enhance our support systems and foster a compassionate and inclusive community. Your participation will be instrumental in shaping a more resilient and connected mental health system to support staff, clinicians, clients, and caregivers.
